The Apex takes all our knowledge of traditional and performance longboarding and rolls it into one beautiful package. When we designed this board we were out to make the most versatile classic longboard of all time. A board that’s incredibly easy to ride for a novice but also a board that Cj can push him on for many years to come. Concave in the nose for incredible noseride lift, hip in the back like a classic “involvement” log for pivot and whip but with a lower performance style rail and a modern edge in the tail for speed and control. A homage to the past with modern touches. The “Apex” of Classic longboard design.

Thunderbolt Technology employs cutting-edge materials and techniques to reduce weight while simultaneously enhancing performance, flexibility, board control, and durability. In stark contrast to mass-produced epoxy boards that tend to feel rigid and unresponsive, Thunderbolt's meticulously handcrafted boards elevate the use of superior epoxy materials to a whole new level. These boards offer the same feel and sensitivity as high-quality polyurethane boards but surpass traditional epoxy pop-out constructions in terms of performance. Riders who have experienced these state-of-the-art epoxy boards often claim that they actually provide a superior experience to polyurethane boards.
Each Thunderbolt board is crafted entirely by hand. The process starts with an EPS foam core equipped with a multi-component carbon fiber stringer system, meticulously engineered to deliver optimal flex and responsiveness. Proprietary designs incorporating internal carbon fiber components are strategically positioned on both the deck and the bottom of the board to ensure precise control over flex and maximize strength.
The core shield PVC layer acts as a flexible protective barrier, bolstering the board's durability and strength without compromising its inherent flex and twist characteristics. Abundant use of carbon fiber and fiberglass in the deck, bottom, and rails ensures that Thunderbolt boards not only outperform but also outlast traditional polyurethane boards and other epoxy designs.

Silver is aconstruction that gives you a classic riding feel. The laminate uses 6oz + 6oz
fiberglass for the deck and 6oz + 4oz fiberglass for the bottom, making it heavier than
other constructions. This increases the feeling of glide and cruise, making traditional
riding possible. Of course, it has the performance and flex of the Thunderbolt,
making it easy to perform delicate board controls such as quick pivot turns and setups
in wave pockets. You can enjoy old school log riding such as hang fives, hang tens,
and curl trimming in small waves.
