Manufacturer description:

The HIHP Speed is the next generation of the HIHP series.
Harley was excited to make a board that had no consideration on where the World Longboard Tour is going next and the judging direction.

This model is all about making a really good all-round performance 9’1. The narrowing of the ends and adjustment of the wide point means there is a greater overall curve allowing you to turn closer in tighter pockets with control. The result is a board that surfs more parallel to the wall when in trim and more comfortable to walk even with the pointier ends. It’s a very similar outline to the board Harley won his first world event on in Anglet 2008. But it utilises the true HP rocker that has proven to be the best all-round rocker to date.

FINS: In all regular conditions we recommend the FCS Harley XL tri set. In larger open faces or hollow surf, we suggest the FCS Harley XL quad set. Customers that like the extra speed may also like the quad set on small days.

TBR - THUNDERBOLT RED

All round

  • Fiberglass Lamination
  • Competition Weight and Flex
  • Hand-Crafted

All-round construction that combines classic and high performance. The laminate uses
6oz + 4oz fiberglass for the deck and 6oz + 2oz fiberglass for the bottom. It's lighter than traditional PU longboards, but still has a good amount of weight, so it combines great performance with an old-school longboard feel.
TBR will handle everything from small waves of 1ft to well overhead waves while feeling the ride quality of a longboard. You can enjoy both classic riding and aggressive manoeuvres such as long nose riding, drop knee turns, and spray roller coasters. The red finish is heavier than the black, so it is less affected by choppy conditions with strong winds, making it easier to control.
